  • Description: The film starts with the four-man aircraft crew posed at the water's side in Kristianiafjord, with the two pilots, Captain S D Scott and Major C J Galpin, in the centre. Their flying-boat, a Felixstowe F5 (number N4044) rides at its moorings, and a civilian party (helped by the Norwegian Army officer Captain Craster) rows out for a joy-ride. The plane takes off and overflies the camera. Craster and Galpin swim out to the plane after its return, and on land once more the crew and civilians talk together. The view down from the plane in its flight shows the fjord, then the city with its castle and royal palace, and Bygdo island.
